Hall of Fame

The Can-Am Hall of Fame is an integral part of the show’s commitment to supporting the horse industry and celebrating the legacies of the community’s great leaders and innovators.  It has been a popular annual event, usually held in conjunction with the Evening Extravaganza.  This year we have decided to do something different.  In order to maintain a consistently high standard for induction and to ensure that new members of the Hall of Fame receive proper recognition for their achievements, we have opted to hold the ceremonies every other year.  The event will assume great importance at next year’s show, and in the meantime don’t miss checking out on seeing our Hall of Fame gallery of past inductees in the RAM Main Arena at this year’s show.

The Can-Am Hall of Fame was launched in 2013 in conjunction with the show’s move to Ontario’s Horse Country as part of its new look and feel. Designed to honour and recognize world-class contributions to the equine industry, the program welcomes nominations from the public in a variety of categories. Submissions are narrowed down by an elected committee comprised of knowledgeable industry professionals. Join us at Can-Am’s awards presentation as we celebrate the accomplishments of this year’s distinguished inductees.
