Randy Roy

Randy Roy is a Senior International Judge, a course designer and holds a Senior Judge’s Breeding Card. He is the only Canadian to have officiated all four prestigious indoor shows: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Madison Square Garden, N.Y. and the Royal Winter Fair, Toronto.

Randy has trained or worked with such world class names as George Morris, Eric Lamaze, Ian Millar, Mac Cone, Jill Henselwood, Katie Prudent, Don Stewart, Karen Healey, Jay Hayes, Missy Clarke, Geoff Teall, Cheryl Lanctot and Ainsley Vince. He has trained or owned countless zone and Royal Winter Fair champions in Canada as well as in the U.S., one of the most famous being the first Hunter inducted into the Hall of Fame, “Just Cruising.”

Randy is the author of “Here Comes the Judge”, “Hometime Showtime”, “Made in Canada”, “Striding to the Top”, “The Judge is Back”, “Judge’s Pet Peeves”, “You Be the Judge”, “Viewpoint”, and the all new “Heads Up!”. He owns and operates Hunter’s Glen Show Stables in King, Ontario with his daughter Ryan Roy, a 1-goal polo player and hunter/jumper rider who was named Rookie of the Year for 2008. Randy lives at the farm with Ryan and his son, Colin.
