Equine Education at University of Guelph: Our focus in the presentation at the 2017 show will be the unique equine education degrees offered at University of Guelph. We will also highlight some of the careers that students have found once they completed the various degrees.

Brittany Martin is currently in second year university at the University of Guelph, in the Bachelor of bio-Resource Management program, majoring in Equine Management. She is from a small town in Northern Ontario and she started riding at a very young age. Currently she owns three registered Tennessee Walking Horses. Her hobbies include horse related activities, anything outdoors (camping, fishing, four wheeling etc.) reading and various sports. She is currently a member of the Guelph Gryphon Curling team. Her future career aspirations include Equine rehabilitation/physiotherapy or possibly a veterinarian.

Mia Sabetti is a 2nd year Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management, Equine major at the University of Guelph. Originally from Mississauga, ON; Mia has been an equestrian for 12 years and enjoys all things equine along with sports and outdoor activities. At U of G, Mia competes in hunt seat equitation on the Ontario University Equestrian Association circuit. After completing her degree, she aspires to enter the world of equestrian event planning.
