Loris Epis


Loris Epis, originally from Parma Italy, is the owner and trainer at Epis Performance Horses, specializing in the training and showing of Reining Horses. Over the years, Loris has developed his skills both inside and outside the show pen, moving through the ranks making the Equi-Stats reining statistics list multiple times, including being the top ranked Rider Open Level 1 and Open Level 2 in 2011 and named in the Top 5 “Up and Coming Open Riders” in 2013.

Loris is one of the highest NRHA money earners in Canada with over $265,205+ in lifetime earnings. His stellar show record includes:

At Epis Performance Horses, Loris focuses his training program on consistency, preparation and balance and his techniques. The horses in his program are considered athletes and treated as such. From the high performance feed to grooming and daily maintenance, they prepare them mentally and physically for the show pen. Being competitively successful in the show pen is not only about having the best trained horse but is also about having the best prepared horse.
