Jarod Nooren

Jarod Nooren is an APF-I professional farrier that has been working throughout Ontario for a number of years. His practice mainly specializes in hunters, jumper and corrective shoeing but he’s also worked on dressage, eventing, western and pleasure and many other disciplined horses. Most recently he was selected to be one of the “Official Farriers of the FEI World Equestrian Games Tyron 2018”, where he spent a week in North Carolina servicing some of the world’s top horses.

He has worked alongside world renowned farrier Dave Farley and attributes a lot of his success to him and his connections as well as many other farriers when he was starting out. Jarod works on an Olympian and many FEI level horses. He attends the International Hoof-Care Summit almost every year as well as their AAPF tests and online seminars. Jarod’s oldest son Bryce (age 3) can often be found going to work with daddy.

When Jarod isn’t shoeing horses, you can find him on the back of a horse with a rope in hand. He has won many championships, titles and awards in the rodeo events of Team Roping and Tie Down Roping.
