Jessica Costello

Jessica is a third level coach who teaches and trains out of Pine Ridge farm in King City.  She began riding at a young age and competed in Pony Club, eventing, hunter, jumper, and once, western pleasure.  Jessica started competing seriously in dressage as a Young Rider in 1986 and has taught, trained and competed successfully ever since.  Jessica and Don Bariton were 6th in an Olympic trial in 1996 and were members of several Can-Am teams.  With Litmanan in 2001 Jessica won the advanced freestyle at Devon and continued in the next years to have much success at Grand Prix.  In the last few years she has had some great results with Beth Egan’s Sandriana at the advanced level and with Carol Ann Bartlett’s Rosumunde at third level.  This year both horses will compete and train to prepare for the Pan-Am trials in 2015.  Jessica loves teaching and likes to include all types of horses in her training program.

Jessica Costello will be joined by musician Cam Millar in a unique presentation demonstrating how to craft a beautiful and melodic Kür, or ‘freestyle’, program.
